We have the contents of an abandoned storage unit up for sale this weekend. The best part is, you don’t have to be at our location to be part of the auction. It will take place entirely online through bid13.com – a storage unit auction website that allows you to place bids from anywhere.
The auction will be posted on Friday, May 20th, 2016.
All you have to do is log in to an existing account or sign up for a free account on Bid13.com. You can easily find the Total Storage Unit up for auction by accessing the current auctions and refining your search to show current online auctions in Manitoba. Photos of the unit will be posted so you can see the contents, just as if the auction was in person.
About Bid13
- Bid13 runs by proxy bidding method. This means that you can place a maximum bid and allow the system to bid on your behalf up to your maximum. Your maximum amount won’t be visible to other bidders, only to you.
- If your maximum amount is higher than the previous bidder’s maximum, the auction price will increase to $1 higher than the previous bidder’s maximum. If your maximum is lower than the previous bidders maximum, you will be automatically outbid by the previous bidder, for $1 higher than your maximum.
- You will receive notifications when another bidder bids on the unit, and if you are no longer the highest bidder.
- If you win the unit, the system allows you to process a portion of the payment and gives you a confirmation number to take to our facility to pick up your goods.
